Here are some testimonials from our current and past drama students about our weekly adult drama classes:
‘I loved…Rachel’s inventiveness when it came to groovy ways of approaching characters, but most of all I loved working on scenes from various plays. It was great learning to listen to my fellow performers, and to try out scenes in a number of different ways.’ - Tina
‘The exercises and lessons Rachel takes us through have developed my ability as an amateur performer. Rachel draws from her extensive experience and education as an actor to grow her students as individuals and as a team.’ - Helen
‘OXONDrama got me back into acting after a very long break, and Rachel’s outstanding teaching and coaching gave me the confidence to audition. I was fortunate to be cast in a show at the Oxford Playhouse at my first attempt, which helped me fulfil a lifelong ambition!’ - Richard
‘Rachel is one of the best teachers I could have asked for. She is calm, caring, considerate and passionate about the subject….It was fantastic to work with someone with experience in the industry.’ - Ryann
‘You create a positive learning environment and give us great exercises and concepts to work with.’ - Angus
‘I thought I was going to be really shy, but I ended up being really outgoing with Rachel’s encouragement.’ - Bella (Beginner Drama Student)
‘I really enjoyed the Improv classes…Excellent teacher, very enabling and unintimidating, and working with the other class members has been great fun.’ - Caroline (Long Form Improv Student)
‘I signed up to get practice thinking on (my) feet. I didn’t expect to gain self-confidence or have so much fun.’ -
Lee (Beginner Improv Student)
